PLAYLISTS: We're Back!

Well, yours truly, Dan OlderMusicGeek, had to take a few weeks off to get some things in my life back in proper order, leaving me no time for Iowa Music Showcase.

But we're back now! And to celebrate, I created a playlist of songs from Iowa artists about coming back and returning, or just doing something again.

Again, as with most of our Spotify playlists, these songs are in no particular order and are best listened to in shuffle play.

Sorry, I try not to put up two playlists in a row. And I try to put out a podcast every four weeks. But family going-ons got in the way.

I have it recorded, but I'm not going to write the accompanying web posts.

So in honor of the day today, I haphazardly slapped this playlist together so I'd have something up this week.

I did get three songs from Bob Wissinger who played keyboards with a Des Moines band from the 1960s, Tommy T's Federal Reserve (https://www.iowarocknroll.com/inductees/45/tommy-tucker-the-esquires-federal-reserve/) (originally Tommy Tucker & The Esquires). Unfortunately, I couldn't get the rights to play any. But I managed to find one of their songs on YouTube! You can check it here - http://youtu.be/rCoBygXFHyY.
